The search topics added this month includes several new specialties and facility types that have the ability to reduce healthcare costs and improve patient outcomes, like home health agencies, retail clinics, and specialty surgeons.
- 8K retail clinics. Utilization of retail clinics, like CVS MinuteClinics or Rite Aid RediClinics, has increased over 200% in the past five years as patients look for more affordable and accessible treatment options than urgent cares or physician offices.
- 12K home health agencies. More than two in three older Americans have multiple chronic conditions that can benefit from home healthcare. As a result, reports estimate home health agencies to grow more than 20% by 2031.
- 17K specialty surgeons. When a specialty surgery is required, success rate and experience-level of the surgeon is of the utmost importance. We are excited to expand our coverage and accessibility to objective quality analysis for our members.
This release also added providers within other specialties including cardiology, genetics, neurology, and musculoskeletal, as well as 4K facilities across behavioral health clinics, rural health clinics, and radiology.
